Chris aimed to bring the processes and agility used in commercial construction to the repair space, and since then, the company has grown significantly.
In response to the traumatic weather events of 2023 through Auckland and Hawkes Bay, PAAM expanded across multiple regions in both the North and South Islands to better serve its customers. Amy Benson joined the company shortly after, further bolstering our ability to offer excellent service during some of life’s most challenging events.

Chris began his construction career in 2004 as an apprentice carpenter with a local commercial contractor. He joined Naylor Love in 2009 and completed qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Project and Construction Management whilst completing the Naylor Love Cadetship programme.
Having started on the “shop floor” and working through all disciplines of construction management through a cadetship, Chris’ ability to understand and adapt to all areas of construction is hugely valuable. He has always harboured a desire to work for himself and has set up several businesses since finishing with NL, including Prier & Associates.

Amy ran the national service dispatch and parts distribution for Brivis climate systems NZ, she then went on in a sales and project Managment role for carrier air conditioning NZ and later progresses to be the wellington branch manager, responsible for the totaline store, and wellington, sales, service and project management.
Amy then took a step away to raise her three children, while doing this she was involved in the HR and project management for her family business, a construction company and 4-star flooring, while completing further studies in construction management.
